You’ve probably worked out the ‘we’ of Lucas Electrical is actually just a ‘me’, Glen Lucas.
Glen was born in Liverpool towards the beginning of the final third of the last century, and still manages to persuade himself that this doesn’t make him old.
He decided to take an alternative route to becoming an electrician, so instead of leaving school for an apprenticeship he studied Latin and Greek at university before taking a job in the City of London trading steel to the Caribbean.
He swapped his phone and calculator for a screwdriver and a roll of insulation tape in 2008 and frankly wishes he’d done it twenty years earlier.
His favourite biscuits are plain chocolate digestives. Though a quick glance at his waistline might suggest he’s also partial to the odd mini roll.
