{"id":19,"date":"2020-11-10T14:53:26","date_gmt":"2020-11-10T14:53:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lucaselectrical.org.uk\/?page_id=19"},"modified":"2020-11-10T23:09:46","modified_gmt":"2020-11-10T23:09:46","slug":"who-we-are","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.lucaselectrical.org.uk\/?page_id=19","title":{"rendered":"Who we are"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>You&#8217;ve probably worked out the &#8216;we&#8217; of Lucas Electrical is actually just a &#8216;me&#8217;, Glen Lucas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Glen was born in Liverpool towards the beginning of the final third of the last century, and still manages to persuade himself that this doesn&#8217;t make him old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He decided to take an alternative route to becoming an electrician, so instead of leaving school for an apprenticeship he studied Latin and Greek at university before taking a job in the City of London trading steel to the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He swapped his phone and calculator for a screwdriver and a roll of insulation tape in 2008 and frankly wishes he&#8217;d done it twenty years earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His favourite biscuits are plain chocolate digestives.
